The weather is getting colder, but I'm stylishly prepared for it. Bring it on!
They gave me my own shiny tree? I wonder what I can grab off it?
These 2 are crazy, but I guess they're mine.
What are these 2 wearing?
They took me to my first Christmas party. Luckily it was at McKenzie's house. I know that place. Also lucky for me, the strangers didn't mess with me. I allowed my parents to have their fun.
Who is this man and why is he holding me? Don't go anywhere, mom and dad!
I don't like the man in the big red suit, but I do like the camera and you guys are trying really hard to make me laugh. Until next year, big red man!
They took me out to dinner and to see pretty Christmas decorations. I didn't let them look at lights for very long because it was way past my bedtime.
Mama dressed me fancy to meet some old friends at yet another party. Just so long as no one tries to hold me I'll be fine. P.S. people did try and I tolerated it for a little bit. Once they took me out of mom's sight, I lost it!
In my pretty red dress to visit Gigi
I indulged my parents in this matching pajamas charade because they took me to Nana's and Granddaddy's house.
Wait, you want me to do what?
Uh, no! I'm not here for this!
Ok, just one good one. If it will get y'all to take this off my head.
Nooooooo! Not the "Hannah Smooshy!!!!!"
Well, at least they got me all these cool presents for the torture they put me through last night. I think I did really well for my first Christmas.
My official Christmas outfit and now I'm ready for dinner at Uncle Gary's house. I got to meet all of daddy's cousins! No one tried to mess with me too much. For that, I was thankful.
We got to visit Grammy and Papa. I got lots of goodies when we went there, too. The ride was too long for me. Sorry, mom. I wasn't about to sleep through the whole drive like those other times. Papa gave me a lesson in how to make homemade biscuits. He even let me play in the biscuit dough. Papa is alright in my book. Well, so long as he doesn't try to hold me. I'm not quite ready for that.
While visiting Grammy and Papa, I got to go to Bible class for the first time. I had so much fun singing songs and learning about God!
As you can see, I'm very serious about my Bible learning.
My signature tongue pose
I got even more presents when Daddy's family came to Nana's house. I don't know why Beckham loves me so much, but I like it!
One thing I got this month that I didn't want was germs! As in a cough and a drippy nose. Thankfully, mama was home and could snuggle me. Mama knows how to snuggle.
I tried to read daddy's book, but he wouldn't let me have it. Lucky for me, mama had a book just for me. Now we can all read together. I don't know why, but I get the feeling this is going to be something important later.
I may be sick, but I still know how to be camera ready. Daddy is in tears and mama is overjoyed. Football season is coming to an end, and mama's team seems to be doing well. She thought my 9 month photos should be representative of these accomplishments. Me? Well, I'm just here for the camera and attention.
Me and all my friends!
Just some stats! I'm getting so big.
This is me at 9 months old!
Weight: 17 lbs 13 oz (we think)
Height: 28 in. (we think)
Likes: Daniel Tiger is my favorite. I also like when mama plays the "Baby Shark" song. I love to bounce and dance. I'm starting to stand with help. I like to sit and play. I hate being on my belly, so naturally I have no interest in crawling. However, I know how to get around by boot scootin' my booty around the floor. I still have 2 teeth, but I know more are coming. I can feel them. I love to eat. Put just about anything in my mouth and I'm going to eat it. I have a love for Cheetos. They're easy for me to feed myself.
Not quite sure what's in store for me this next month. I certainly hope that it doesn't include more germs. I hope mama's team continues to win so I don't have to deal with her despair. I guess I'll just keep playing with all my toys and looking fabulous!
